A flexible infrastructure for limitless possibilities.
The Enlite Fiber Optic Network consists of 200 miles of fiber optic cable, maintained by Consolidated Electric Cooperative (CEC), with facilities in secure data centers in Central Ohio. The Enlite Fiber Optic Network has been designed to complement and leverage CEC’s electrical distribution network by utilizing poles, underground infrastructure and high-reliability substation sites to build a stable, high-capacity fiber network.
The core network reaches from Columbus to Mansfield through Delaware, Morrow, Licking, Richland and Knox counties in Central Ohio. Enlite is a Layer 2, transport only, fiber optic network providing carrier transport and connectivity between area businesses and their choice of service providers. Enlite continues to grow with expansion plans into regional data centers, as well as other carrier meet-points.
